After all, my Pentecost is purposed to prepare me for my own Gethsemane and Calvary!
Think of Jesus, in the Garden of Gethsemane, His disciples tarried and fell asleep.
That effort left him soaked in his own sweat and blood on the trodden grass of Gethsemane.
And before delivering Himself to death, He spent a long time in prayer in the Garden of Gethsemane.
It brings him to the dry desert of his agony in Gethsemane, and the bitterness of the cross.
He truly toiled and moiled just to accept God's will when he prayed at Gethsemane.
