WordHippo is an online website and application providing a range of tools related to the use of words
for creative and recreational purposes such as writing, poetry, translations, word games, etc.

Our History
WordHippo was first launched in 2008 to provide users with a simple website for looking up similar and opposite words.
Since then, we have expanded our range of available tools to include:
- Rhyming words
- Example sentences
- Translations
- Definitions
- Word forms
- Word game helpers
Our Goals
We are committed to making WordHippo the best possible website and application it can be when it
comes to the provision of word related tools and utilities on the internet.
We acknowledge that we currently have, and may always have, plenty of scope for improvement.
However, we will never waver from our stated goal, and will continually be working hard towards achieving our vision,
however long it may take.
iOS and Android Apps
In November of 2017, we launched our apps for iOS and
Android, both of which have been
positively received by our regular and loyal users as evidenced by the largely positive ratings and reviews.
